What PACT parents say about . . .

Our Participation

"We are part of the classroom, and all of us bring our own skills. . . we can incorporate many different types of activities into the education experience that wouldn't be possible otherwise. School has become an adventure and my daughter LOVES it!"

"What I love about PACT is what my daughter loves about PACT, which is having parents in the classroom actively working with the students. She loves interacting with so many adults and the variety of activities offered in the classroom because of parent involvement."

"I have a stronger partnership with my child's teacher because of my participation."

Our Learning Environment

"I love seeing my son working cooperatively with other children and adults. He's learning how to interact postively with a wide variety of people."

"Our teachers are very dedicated and really go the extra mile for the students. While maintaining academic achievement, they also work hard to understand and support each child's social and emotional development."

"The children are getting a high level of individual attention and the teachers are able to enrich strengths and address weaknesses."

"We searched for a school that could provide a balanced educational experience for our children -- challenging their minds and also providing support for their social and emotional development. Sometimes it felt like "Goldilocks and the Three Schools:" the schools with strong academics were too strict and traditional, but more relaxed schools would have bored our bright kids. Finally, we found PACT, a place that was "just right.""

"Our older daughters (now at Graham Middle School and Mountain View High School) both graduated from PACT, but by the time school rolled around for our youngest, we were weary. Our neighborhood school was just fine, not to mention convenient ... but something was missing. So we returned to PACT when our son was in third grade, and we are so glad we did. The wonderful philosophy of developmental, child-centered education is what drew us back to the program. We are grateful for the opportunity to get involved in the classroom in the meaningful and hands-on way that defines the PACT program."

Our Community

"The PACT program is like a family. We've gotten to know each other in a way that no standard public school experience would allow. "

"The program attracts parents who really care about their children's education, and teachers who really value the partnership between parents and teachers."

"PACT is a very vibrant community -- it has a lot to offer to people who want their kids to see and experience new things."
