2007-2008 School Year

Registration for PACT is handled through the Mountain View Whisman School District offices, at 750-A San Pierre Way, Mountain View, (650) 526-3500.

Mountain View Residents

The 2007-2008 the open registration period will be February 1-28. Registrations after February 28 will be accepted at the Mountain View Whisman District Office on a space-available basis. Registration packets are available from the District Office or at the Castro School office.

Fill out the registration packet completely. Please specify "PACT" where it asks which school your child will be attending. Return the completed form to the district office with all additional required documents, including:

  • Proof of the child's legal age. (birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport or affidavit of parent/guardian or custodian of minor).
  • Proof of residency. (PG&E bill, rental contract, house deed or closing papers or verification of shared residence form)
  • Proof of immunization (Polio, DPT, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, PPD) and TB test. You may need to arrange a "shot-only" visit with your pediatrican prior to your child's five-year checkup in order to have the shots completed before registration time. All children must have completed these immunizations before they will be allowed to register.

All Other Districts

Visit the district office for the school district in which you live. Obtain a copy of its Interdistrict Transfer Form, fill it out, and return it to your district office for their approval.
